Bill 310, now Public Law 30 – 110 - requiring the government of Guam to conduct a methane study for the new Leyon Landfill in Inarajan. The study aims to provide technical information on feasibility of methane storage and energy production.
Bill 293, now Public Law 30 - 99 - provides motor vehicle decals for the hearing impaired to provide upfront identification to avoid misunderstanding by law enforcement personnel and all motorists.
Bill 282, now Public Law 30 - 98 - provides hearing-impaired individuals with specific identification on drivers licenses to enhance communications with law enforcement personnel.
Bill 281, now Public Law 30 - 97 - requires the government of Guam to implement an Emergency 911 texting function. Prior to Senator Taitague’s attention to the matter, emergency texting service were not available for the hearing impaired. Immediately following Senator Taitague’s introduction of this bill, the Guam Fire Department secured a temporary number to receive temporary text messages.
