SENATOR TAITAGUE SUPPORTS WAR REPARATIONS EFFORT

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Senator Taitague recently joined Senator Frank Blas, Jr. in moving forward with an initiative to gain recognition from the Obama Administration to consider authorizing War Reparations for World War II survivors on Guam.

"I wholeheartedly support this effort and I commend Senator Blas for taking this initiative," Senator Taitague said. "I believe it is our responsibility to ensure our nation recognizes those who endure the tragedy of war, not because we cannot forget, but because it is our duty to remember the hardships of those who paved the way for our progress and the life we know today."
