Senator Telo Strengthens Mission to Serve Hearing Impaired Community

Meets with hearing impaired students, teachers and aides at PC Lujan Elementary School

Photo Caption: Senator Telo Taitague spent time at P.C. Lujan Elementary School on Thursday, February 18, 2010, to discuss ways to provide new equipment to better serve the needs of the Guam Department of Education’s hearing impaired students.

“These children are our future and it is our responsibility to provide them with adequate educational resources,” Senator Taitague said. “Our efforts today will give them the tools they need to become productive members of our community. I’ve spent time with these wonderful children and I know that with our help, they will prosper.”

Senator Telo Taitague, in response to an issue raised by a concerned parent, has been working diligently to ensure P.C. Lujan Elementary School is provided the resources and funding necessary for the facility’s hearing impaired program.
